After countless cups of coffee, endless late nights and plenty of heartfelt moments, we're thrilled to finally announce: the NAPAA Professional Directory is officially LIVE!

The launch of our Directory isn't just a milestone for us - it's a symbol of our commitment to making Australia more neuro-inclusive. To celebrate, we're giving you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at life here at NAPAA HQ:

Welcome to NAPAA HQ

The door to our office proudly displays our rainbow infinity logo, symbolising the infinite possibilities of a neuro-inclusive future. Every day, walking through this door reminds us why we do what we do.

Daily Reminders and Timeless Motivation

Our CTO, Kanaka, keeps a careful eye on our Directory’s technical details. From testing directory pagination to resolving address fields - his notes are practical and precise, just like his methods.

Yet amidst all the tech-talk sits a special message, scribbled by Jasmine, our Executive Director, and has been staying on the board since our first-ever office day: "WE CAN DO THIS!!" A daily reminder of our resilience in the face of a mission bigger than all of us - one that means everything to us.

Resource Creation: Fuelled by Passion (and Coffee)

Here’s Jasmine in her gigantic glasses and deep concentration, crafting neuro-affirming resources designed with care and empathy. Each piece created at this desk is a testament to our vision of supporting professionals to better serve neurodivergent Australians.

Coffee with a Side of Humour

Even the strongest teams need a little nudge sometimes. This hilarious note from Jasmine, "Get your ass moving! XD" is a snapshot of the playful camaraderie that fuels NAPAA. It's the little laughs and gestures of encouragement that help us keep moving forward together.

Tech Wizardry (or Overkill? O.o)

Our CTO, Kanaka’s triple-screen workstation is legendary at NAPAA. It’s efficient, impressive, and perhaps a little excessive. The friendly teasing about his high-tech setup never gets old - because let's face it, we're all a bit jealous!

But really, we get 2 extremes here: One with 3 screens and 1 icon on the desktop (yep, you read it right), and another with 1 screen and 54 desktop icons and an uncountable amount of open files/folders/programs.

Celebrating NAPAA Launch Day with Cake

And finally, what’s a celebration without cake? Meet "Matcha Forest," our chosen sweet treat to mark this significant moment. Rich with layers of matcha, raspberry, and delightful textures, it's the perfect symbol of the vibrant and diverse community we're building together.

Its garden theme ties in beautifully with what we hope to do at NAPAA - to plant a garden, a forest, where the neurodivergent, the excluded, the misread could breathe, bloom and thrive. Thank you Le Yeahllow for this gorgeous work of art for NAPAA’s launch.

Today isn't just a launch - it’s a promise. A promise to continually evolve, support, and champion neuro-inclusivity and neuro-affirming practice.

From our hearts to yours, thank you for being part of this journey. It's been one heck of an emotional roller coaster - and we wouldn't have it any other way, because everything truly meaningful always is.

Let's keep building a more neuro-inclusive Australia, together!

Warmly,

The NAPAA Team
